This is a great Hill bow made during the period of the Second World War, the button is made from aluminium as was common for bows made during this period due to the war effort.
The bow was made by Edgar Bishop as denoted by his brand stamp, Edgar tragically died in 1943 at the age of only 39.
The stick is in good condition, the frog is a silver mounted replacement and as such the bow is priced accordingly.
The stick is well balanced, stong yet flexible and produces a really solid, warm tone a real work-horse of a bow, will do exactly as it's told and won't let you down.
We always try to have at several Hill bows in stock.
The weight is 60 grams.
