A truley imense violin bow made by the French master Nicolas Maline, known for establishing Vuillaume's bow making workshop in Paris during the first half of the 19th Century.  

 

Mounted in the true Vuillaume style, in nickel, the frog with a rounded shoe and the classic Vuillaume style elongated, round button. 

 

In immaculate condition this bow offers plenty of power and strength and produces an exquisite, silky tone.  Sold with a certificate of Pierre Guillaume. 

 

The weight is 62 grams with silk lapping.
